great stay but windows need clarity
The staff provided exceptional service throughout our visit, making us feel truly welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable, surpassing typical standards in Japan.
However, the windows were quite blurred, which made it impossible to enjoy the beautiful view or take nice pictures.

Spacious room, helpful staff, the room included a fridge and electric kettle for my convenience, while the fantastic breakfast featured delicious local specialties.

convenience store access, spacious room, historic style lobby
Two of the three restaurants closed!!! Showers over bath with no rails make it tough to navigate!!! Overall, the decor feels outdated, and the noise insulation from neighboring rooms could use an upgrade!!!

The room was spacious, clean, and had a super comfy bed that made it feel like home. I really enjoyed the foot massage and the wellness amenities offered, which were perfect after a long day of exploring. The only tiny downside was the limited dining options nearby, but the hotel itself was a wonderful stay! 😊

We loved the spacious room which had a nice view of the city. The breakfast was amazing with lots of local dishes. Plus, the staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for our large family, including our dog.
My kids wished there was a kids' area for them to play safely.

Great spot for a family stay!
We really enjoyed this place! The room was super big and comfy. The café downstairs is great for snacks. We could see amazing views from our window. Only thing was, the staff's English was a bit lacking which made asking questions a lil tricky. But overall, we had a fun time exploring!

Charming Stay with Helpful Staff
I appreciated the classic feel of the hotel. the spacious room offered comfort during my three-night stay. The onsite pastry shop was a delightful treat each morning. For visitors, consider using the tram for easy access to attractions. Just be prepared for occasional noise from adjoining rooms.

The hotel impresses with a spacious room and an excellent view, especially from higher floors. A unique advantage is the café on the first floor and the convenience store that makes it easy to grab essentials. However, the sound insulation is subpar. I could hear neighbors clearly, which disrupted sleep. Accessibility to trams is hampered by a steep footbridge, complicating travel with larger luggage. The breakfast offers a wonderful variety, showcasing local flavors, a definite highlight.
